Der Klangforscher can look back on many years of experience as a DJ.
The Berlin-born original has been playing electronic music since 1992, always aiming towards the goal of creating the perfect musical symbiosis.
To accomplish that, he likes to revert to style-atypical elements such as Turntablism. Every one of his sets is telling its own story in a straightforward way and always adapting itself to its audience.
Since 2001 he has been part of the radio landscape.
From 2001 until 2008 he and a DJ colleague owned a web radio station called 2deejay's - Radio. From 2008 until 2016 he regularly hosted his radio show „Klangforschung“ at ShoutedFM.
From there he moved on to Chew TV (2016 – 2017) and now is a regular Streamer of 4 days a week on Twitch.tv since 2020. It's always worthwhile to tune in to one of his live shows.
His style is very difficult to classify in a single genre. It may best be categorized under Deep Progressive, Organic - Melodic House, Melodic / Peak Time Techno, Disco - Funky House and Classic / Uplifting Trance, although he explores other genres as well.
He, himself, calls his style Progressive Tech. Everything he plays is a lot faster and livelier than you might be used to, always groovy and pumping.
Especially during live gigs at clubs, he mainly plays Driving Peak Time Techno.
In 2013 he made his debut as a producer and released his first single, "It's Time to Go", with his own record label, fut.on music, that he founded in the same year.
From then on, several releases followed and there is more to be expected.
His own music can best be described as hard and deep, voluminously powerful with driving electronic beats. Music that inspires heart and soul to go on a journey full of the highest emotions and bliss.
2017 and 2018 he was a resident DJ at the legendary KitKatClub for the MonaLisa and the Poodle Day Club Party.
